Festival Repertoire

The sheet music collection supported the 2022 festival programme, offering directors and singers access to scores spanning traditional Icelandic folk-song arrangements through to contemporary Nordic choral works. Materials were made available digitally to participating choirs and conference attendees.

What You'll Find

• Icelandic Choral Compositions — original works by Icelandic composers featured in festival concerts and workshops.
• Folk-Song Arrangements — settings of traditional Icelandic folk songs, including those explored in the "Icelandic Folk Songs: Characteristics, Sources, Arrangements" workshop.
• Contemporary Nordic Works — pieces reflecting the modern Nordic choral landscape, including repertoire discussed during the Directors Conference.
• Workshop Materials — scores tied to sessions such as "Ensemble Singing – Icelandic Music" and "Collective Choir Composition."

These resources were curated to complement the festival's educational and performance programming, giving participants practical material to take back to their own choirs.
